How Driverless Are Tesla Electric Cars How Driverless Cars Work

#artificialintelligence

I've given a few runs of my presentation on Driverless Cars in Australia, Malaysia and NewZealand. One thing I've noticed is how engaged and excited the audience become when they see a Tesla Model S, driving itself for the first time. What I wanted to achieve in this blog, is to share with you some of this magic and some of the graphics and features I present to the audience. Nowโ€ฆthe reason I've picked the Tesla Model S is because: 1 โ€“ it's a cool car, 2 โ€“ it's Tesla and who doesn't love Elon Musk and 3 โ€“ They make the most advanced and lowest price driverless cars in the worldโ€ฆohโ€ฆand did I tell you they have the best range of any electric car, maxing out at around 667km for the lower-end model at 70 kph (see diagram 1 below) and decreasing to 452km at 120 kph. The Tesla Enhanced Autopilot system is the key to the car.

The rapidly approaching reality of driverless vehicles has the potential to revolutionize the way we move people and goods from place to place. Entire industries face disruption, while others, like space exploration, are just getting started. In this video, Matt Coatney discusses the limitations of previous AI technologies and explains how modern deep learning has advanced intelligently automated systems. Whether you are an executive, manager, or an entrepreneur, this video will help you imagine further applications of deep learning in other industries ranging from factory automation to toys. Even though they're barely on the road, self-driving cars have been talked about so much that they already seem like they're last year's model. Google has been working on one for years. Apple is allegedly, possibly, working on one, too. And there's even speculation that everyone from Uber to Tesla could join the race, too. But before you give up the wheel, get familiar with the technology driving autonomous vehicles.
